We're busy packing up the van and getting ready for the trip to Grandpa and Grandmama's house in Maryland. Thanksgiving is always a great time to reflect on your life, and how easy it is to take things for granted. We were saddened this week by the news of the sudden passing of our family friend, Iry "JD" Carter. JD was always a kind man, often sending "ice cream money" to poor college student me and well wishes in times of need. He came to visit us when the boys came home from the NICU last summer. He will be missed. When I find the photo of him and the boys, I will post it here.
We are very thankful for our family and friends! Have a wonderful holiday. The pictures I have posted are of Luke and Mommy sharing a snack, and Will and his physical therapist, Ilana, playing on the ball.
